The Sport trim sets the tone for the 2023 Jeep Compass lineup with standard Active Drive 4x4 powered by the all-new turbocharged engine and a vast selection of standard features. Outside, the Compass Sport comes standard with LED headlights, power-adjustable/heated side mirrors in black housings, a black grille with chrome surrounds, remote keyless entry, and 17-inch Fine Silver painted alloy wheels. Getting inside the Compass Sport, you'll find the largest touchscreen in its class, spanning 10.1 inches on top of the center stack. The screen runs Uconnect 5, offering cordless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, Amazon Alexa, and many other advanced technologies. Other standard features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, push-button ignition, cloth upholstery, a 7-inch driver information display screen, blindspot monitoring, drowsy driver detection, active lane management, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and more.

Latitude
Up next is the Compass Latitude. The Latitude trim adds an array of new features, including premium cloth/vinyl seating, automatic high beams, steering responsive LED fog lights, Keyless Enter n' go passive entry, and a leather-wrapped shift knob. The Cold Weather Group is optional for the Latitude trim, adding remote start, heated front seats, a windshield wiper de-icer, and a heated steering wheel. The Latitude LUX package adds the Cold Weather Group, 18-inch Satin Carbon alloy wheels, an 8-way power driver's seat, rear park assist, and rain-sensing wipers. The available Altitude package builds on the Latitude LUX with a Gloss Black grille, Gloss Black side mirrors, a Gloss Black Roof, Gloss Black wheels, and Piano Black interior accents for a bold, blacked-out appearance.

Limited
The Limited trim levels up by making many otherwise optional features standard equipment. Outside, the Compass Limited comes standard with a Gloss Black roof for a two-tone appearance, side mirror-integrated turn signals, a Gloss Black grille with chrome rings, a Gloss Black fascia insert, dual exhaust tips, 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, the Cold Weather Group, and rain-sensing wipers. Inside, the Limited trim offers adaptive cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather-trimmed upholstery, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and more.

Trailhawk
The Trailhawk is the only Compass trim level to earn itself Jeep's Trail Rated badge. The Compass Trailhawk gets its superior off-road capabilities from the Active Drive Low 4x4 system. This operates much like the standard Active Drive system. However, it adds a two-speed transfer case with a 4-Low mode to better tackle tough terrain at low speeds. Its off-roading abilities also come from the off-road-tuned suspension, 8.8-inch ground clearance provided by a one-inch factory lift, high-strength steel skid plates, all-terrain tires, a black and red anti-glare hood decal, and signature front and rear tow hooks.

High Altitude
High Altitude is a fitting trim for the top trim level of the Jeep Compass. Not only does the name capture its position in the lineup, but it also captures the top-notch quality that it provides. The Jeep Compass High Altitude adds exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels with a unique spoke pattern, premium LED headlamps, LED taillamps, and cornering LED fog lamps, Neutral Grey grille rings with a Gloss Black surround, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, leather seating, and a black headliner with hard upper trim.
