What Engine Does the Dodge Hornet GT Have?

The Dodge Hornet's GT is the gas-powered model of the bunch! However, it features an engine you haven't seen before from Dodge. The GT and GT Plus trims are both powered b the 2.0-liter turbocharged Hurricane4 engine. This new engine produces 268 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, and helps the Hornet GT run more efficiently than other cars with comparable engines. Plus, the Dodge Hornet GT also features Koni frequency selective damping shocks, offering you a smooth and stable driving experience, with expert handling.

What Engine Does the Dodge Hornet R/T Have?

The Dodge Hornet R/T is a plug-in hybrid vehicle, so it runs on both a gas-powered engine as well as a rechargeable battery, making it more fuel-efficient! Specifically, the R/T features a 1.3-liter turbocharged engine, paired with an electric motor powered by a 15.5-kWh lithium-ion battery pack. This powertrain offers three selectable drive modes, as well as a PowerShot button which will add an extra boost of 30 horsepower just by simply pressing a button. When you choose the R/T, you'll also be treated to some additional performance features, like Brembo high-performance brakes.

What Features Does the Dodge Hornet GT Have?

The GT has tons of great features to enjoy, both on its interior, and its exterior. It features a 12.3-inch Uconnect infotainment touchscreen, complete with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as navigation, and voice commands. If you opt for the GT Plus, you can also enjoy some premium features like heated, leather-trimmed seats, a wireless smartphone charging pad, driver's seat memory settings, and a heated steering wheel!

What Features Does the Dodge Hornet R/T Have?

The R/T has many of the same great features as the GT, including the Uconnect 5 system, wireless connectivity, and available dual-pane sunroof. However, its hybrid functionality also means that the R/T has some unique features of its own. For example, you can find the charging port on the side of the vehicle, and you can access information about your charging status from the digital display on your dashboard. As we mentioned above, there are three drive modes, Hybrid, Electric, and eSave, which you can choose from on your touchscreen.
