What's under the hood of the Wagoneer?
When the Wagoneer launches, it will come with a powerful 5.7-liter V8 that kicks out 392 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque which pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a spectacular 48-volt mild-hybrid system knowns as the eTorque. Unlike most mild-hybrid systems, the 2022 Wagoneer's mild-hybrid system will fill the gap between shifts while helping with the engine's stop-start system, which improves the fuel economy. While further engines have yet to be announced, we think there might be a diesel option and maybe a hybrid on the horizon. The Wagoneer will be available with either rear or four-wheel-drive and two up to 10,000 pounds with the V8.
Can you talk about the Wagoneers interior?
We sure can! The Wagoneer is incredibly spacious and comes with all the latest amenities, making the SUV a great place to spend long car trips. The inside materials are quite luxurious and of the highest quality. We also should mention that the Wagoneer has a 10-inch display with the latest version of the Uconnect system. The cargo space of the Wagoneer is abundant and should be among the leaders in the class. Once you get to the Wagoneer's second and third rows, you'll be treated with up to 116.7 cubic feet of cargo space, which is terrific for the class. It provides a ton of space for your passengers and all of their stuff.
What about the Wagoneer's tech?
The 2022 Wagoneer comes with the newest version of the infotainment interface and is powered by the Uconnect 5 system. It comes with a 10.1-inch screen in the center console and a 10.25-inch screen for the driver's gauge cluster. As usual with the Uconnect system, this latest version is quick to respond to commands, and it's straightforward to use. This new Uconnect system will also be more of a mobile device. It can process information up to five times quicker than previous generations, allows for over the ai updates of firmware and maps, allows for Amazon Alexa integration, and allows two wireless phone connections simultaneously. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also available.
