The Gladiator is offered in a total of four trim levels for the 2019 model year. The entry-level Sport model comes outfitted with features like Bluetooth, all-season tires, a backup camera, crank windows, a 5” touchscreen, 17” steel wheels, 8-speaker sound system, convertible soft top, fold-down front windshield, and removable doors. The higher trims, the Sport S and Overland, build on the entry-level model with features like Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, tinted windows, larger touchscreens, automatic climate control, automatic headlights, additional USB ports, and more. The off-roading oriented Rubicon model adds on all-terrain tires, increased ground clearance, an exclusive transfer case, skid plates, rock rails, and a lower crawl ratio. There are two powertrain options to be found under the hood of a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. The standard powertrain, a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine and a six-speed manual transmission, generate up to 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. If you prefer an automatic transmission, an eight-speed is available. A second powertrain will be available in 2020. A 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine will be mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, creating up to 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. Every Jeep Gladiator bears the Trail Rated badge which means it has been put the test, ready to take on the terrain ahead. In order to earn the Trail Rated badge, the Gladiator was tested in a variety of categories including, ground clearance, traction, articulation, water fording, and maneuverability. The Gladiator can take on the big jobs thanks to the best-in-class 7,650 pounds towing capacity and the best-in-class 1,600-pound payload capacity.

Does the Gladiator come with any safety features?

The Gladiator allows you to adventure with confidence thanks to a wide variety of passive and active safety features! In fact, there are over 80 standard and available safety and security features available for the 2020 model year. Just some of these features include rear cross path detection so you can back up out of parking spaces or driveways without trouble, blind spot monitoring for lane change confidence, forward collision warning with active braking, and adaptive cruise control with full stop for safe highway cruising. The Gladiator will also make you a boss at parking with the standard ParkView rear back up camera and the ParkSense rear park assistant.
