Trim Levels of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator

With the introduction of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator, midsize-truck shoppers have an exciting new option to consider. The Gladiator, simply put, is a four-door Wrangler Unlimited with an extended wheelbase and a 5-foot cargo bed instead of a cargo area. There is plenty of towing and hauling power as the Gladiator can tow a class-leading 7,650 pounds and 1,600-pound payload capacity. Just like the Wrangler, a Rubicon version is available. Features such as a lockable front and rear differentials, 33-inch all-terrain tires, and a disconnectable front stabilizer bar give the Gladiator Rubicon the ability to go up and down tricky terrain with ease. But even when your driving down the highway can have fun with the Gladiator's removable doors and top. Four trim levels are available for the Jeep Gladiator, take a trip with us as we break down each one.

Sport

The Sport, like all versions of the 2020 Gladiator, comes with a 5-foot cargo bed, a four-wheel-drive system, and a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, with the option of an eight-speed automatic. As for features, the Sport comes with 17-inch steel wheels, all-season tires, crank windows, manual door locks and mirrors, cruise control, a 5-inch central display, a rearview camera, Bluetooth, and voice control capability. The Sport also comes with a convertible folding top, removable doors, and a fold-down front windshield.

Sport S

The Sport S adds power and luxury features such as alloy wheels, power windows, power doors, and tailgate locks, heated power mirrors, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Opting for the Sport S gives you a ton of optional packages. The Technology Group package includes a 7-inch touchscreen, satellite radio, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. Other option packages include the Cargo Group package, which comes with a rail-based cargo system and a 115-volt power outlet in the bed. And an Advanced Safety Group package that comes with a variety of advanced driver aids.

Overland

The Overland dresses up the Sport S with style, and function features such as 18-inch alloy wheels, body-color wheel arches, side steps, and tinted rear side and rear windows. Additional features include automatic headlights, LED ambient footwell lighting, and a 7-inch infotainment system with additional USB ports for the rear passengers.

Rubicon

The Rubicon trim brings the most off-road capability with a different transfer case with a lower crawl ratio for better climbing and crawling, fenders with increased clearance to accommodate larger 33-inch all-terrain tires, and locking front and rear differentials. Also coming standard are Fox shock absorbers, disconnectable front stabilizer bar, and body-protecting rock rails and skid plates.

With a ton of fun features and superior off-road capability, the 2020 Jeep Gladiator is one of the best mid-sized trucks on the open market! The best-in-class towing ability and excellent payload capacity are certainly pluses, as are the terrific option packages.
