Why you should join a Jeep club
Learn the basics: Jeep clubs are a great way to learn the basics of safe off-roading. Jeep clubs are filled with members who have been doing it for years and can teach you everything you need to know to have a safe and fun ride.
Organized club rides: With organized club rides you’re going to have opportunities to hit trails you didn’t even know existed. You’re also going to be going out with a group of people which is always more fun than going out by yourself. Plus, it’s a lot safer to go out on the trails with a group. If you get stuck there’s someone to pull you out and if your Jeep breaks down someone there should be able to help you get back up and running.
Meet new people: Jeep clubs are filled with people who are passionate about their Jeeps and off-roading, which makes it easier to make new friends. They also have tons of knowledge about different trails they're ready to share with you. As well as different modifications they’ve done to their Jeep’s and what they’ve done when they’ve had an issue.

Adirondack Jeeps is a family-friendly club that welcomes all-levels of off-road enthusiasts. The club opened to Jeeps, as well as, all full size 4x4 vehicles. Members of the club have a strong dedication to the “Tread Lightly” belief and work hard to understand the laws surrounding off-roading. The club also facilitates a strong sense of community by fundraising and volunteering in their communities. Monthly club meetings are held anywhere between Malta and Queensbury.
Capital District Jeep Wrangler:
Capital District Jeep Wrangler is a club located in New York with a dedication to having fun off-roading in their Jeeps and giving back to their community. The club boasts 101 classes to expand club member's knowledge of off-roading and of their Jeeps. They also host different fundraisers like their annual CDJW Help A Dog BBQ & Pet Festival For the Animal Protective Foundation.
Established in 1993, Long Island Off Road Club is based out of Long Island, New York. The Club is a member of Northeast Off-Road Vehicle Alliance, Tread Lightly, and The Northeast Association of 4WD Clubs Inc. The club meets the first Tuesday of every month for a club meeting and hits the trails several times each month.
New York City Jeep Club was started back in 2009 by a couple of friends from the Bronx.
