Can You Talk About the Capability of the 2022 Grand Wagoneer?
The Grand Wagoneer will be one of the most luxurious full-size SUVs on the market and one of the most capable. Three things make that so, a 471-horsepower 6.4L V8 engine with 455 lb-ft of torque, three available 4x4 systems, and Quadra-Lift air suspension. The V8 engine is mated to a TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission and has fuel-saving technologies like cylinder deactivation and variable cam timing. For drivetrains, the standard on the Series I is Quadra-Trac I, which employs a single-speed transfer case to send up to 100% of available engine torque to the axle with the most traction when wheel speed sensors detect wheel slip. The available Quadra-Trac II and Quadra-Drive II both use a two-speed transfer case with Active 4-Low for optimal control on rugged terrain or in deep snow. In addition, quadra-Lift air suspension is available to provide a normal ride height of eight inches of ground clearance while going as low as 6.4 inches in Park mode and as high as ten inches in Off-Road 2 mode.

The designers of the 2022 Grand Wagoneer wanted to pay homage to the original models by capturing the American Premium roots that the Grand Wagoneer planted years ago. The Grand Wagoneer had to be the perfect balance of modern and classic to give the design team wanted. A forward-leaning grille pays homage to the original from the outside while the seven slots nod at Jeep's iconic front-end design. Like the original, a sharp A-line runs from the front on either side and meets in the rear splitting the side profile in half for an alluring silhouette. Inside, large windows paired with a panoramic three-pane sunroof provide plenty of natural lighting and a view of the outside world for all passengers. A balance of metal, wood, and leather gives occupants a classic feel while still feeling present in the modern age. Modern notes are provided by a 12.3-inch digital information screen behind the steering wheel, a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen with Uconnect 5, a 10.25-inch climate control touchscreen for the four-zone HVAC system, and an available front passenger Co-Pilot touchscreen with an HDMI input for the rear-seat entertainment. Nappa leather-trimmed seats are standard, while more luxurious Palermo leather seats are available on higher trim levels. The front seats are heated, ventilated, and massaging. The second row comes standard with captain's chairs with a center console and 10.1-inch entertainment screens with Amazon Fire TV. The third row gets best-in-class legroom while providing class-leading cargo room behind it.

While the Grand Wagoneer is capable and luxurious, it is also extremely safe. For preventative measures, it has over 120 standard and available driver-assist technologies.
